Job summary

Weekender Hotels’ Great Pines lodge is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead event food service for weddings, corporate events, and group functions. You will own menu planning, staffing, production, and execution from setup to breakdown, while also supervising the Lean-To kitchen for additional coverage.

Responsibilities include managing food costs, inventory, vendor relations, and maintaining HACCP-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in event, banquet, catering, restaurant, or hotel kitchen leadership.
• Experience with weddings or large group events strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus for weddings, corporate events, and group functions.
• Build prep sheets and production timelines for each event.
• Determine and schedule event staffing.
• Lead food preparation, execution and delivery for events.
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen management and inventory control.
• Hire, train and manage kitchen staff.
• Provide hands-on leadership during food preparation and service.
