The City of Richland’s Recreation Division is seeking an experienced event coordinator to plan and execute the City’s signature events across parks and facilities. You will lead planning efforts and work with private organizers, volunteers, and sponsors to ensure successful events with limited supervision.

The role requires evening/weekend shifts seasonally and a background in recreation programming and supervision.

Qualificações

• Associates/Technical degree in recreation or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in recreation programming.
• One (1) year of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning and execution of City signature events (e.g., Winter Wonderland, Fall Carnival, National Night Out, City Fair).
• Collaborate with private event organizers hosting events in Richland’s parks and facilities.
• Coordinate volunteers and sponsor relationships when applicable.
