Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking an Etch Sr. Section Lead to direct a team of etch process engineers in a 24/7 foundry environment.

You will guide dry/wet etch, electroplating, and wet clean processes, drive process improvements, and manage schedules and costs to support multiple technology roadmaps for advanced microelectronic devices. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in semiconductor processing, plus a STEM degree; a Master’s/PhD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field.
• Ten or more years of relevant semiconductor processing or process integration experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of etch engineers supporting 24/7 foundry operation.
• Drive technical strategy for Etch processes (Dry/Wet Etch, Wet Clean, Electroplating).
• Review changes, drive improvements, and interface with operations management.
• Oversee project schedules, costs, capital acquisition, and qualification.
• Plan resources and communicate across functional teams.
• Support department leadership with manpower, budgeting, and performance reviews.
