Job summary

E-Z Bel Construction, LLC seeks a Senior Estimator to develop accurate, compliant cost estimates for heavy civil infrastructure projects including roadways, utilities, drainage, and concrete scopes. You will lead take-offs, bid strategy, and coordination with subcontractors across municipal and state-funded work.

The role requires advanced knowledge of public agency specifications, bid structures, and estimating best practices, plus mentorship of junior staff and ongoing SOP improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of heavy civil estimating experience.
• Advanced proficiency in HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and Excel.
• Knowledge of DBE, HUB, EEO programs and public bidding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plans, specs, and addenda to develop accurate cost estimates for heavy civil projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs for roadway, utilities, drainage, and concrete scopes using Bluebeam and Excel.
• Develop bid estimates in HeavyBid leveraging historical data and owner bid structures.
• Coordinate bid scoping and quotes with subs and suppliers across municipal, county, and state-funded projects.
• Mentor junior estimators and support improvement of estimating processes.
