ACT PIPE & SUPPLY seeks an Estimator Lead to collect and analyze data to estimate costs for manufacturing, construction projects, or services, aiding management in bidding and pricing decisions.

The role requires reviewing drawings, gathering historical cost data, and coordinating with engineers, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and a robust tendering process.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least three years of estimating experience required.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of construction project management.
• Proficient with accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Mansioni

• Estimate the cost of new and proposed products and services in the assigned departments, areas, or projects.
• Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future products.
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Establish and maintain tendering process.
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
• Analyzes changes to the products and services provided.
• Consult with clients, vendors, or personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
