Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking a Lead Estimator based in Brooklyn to prepare estimates for ground-up, multi-storey residential projects across New York and New Jersey. You will lead detailed cost estimates, review drawings and bid documents, and work with the team to establish accurate budgets and identify cost risks throughout preconstruction.

The role requires a minimum of seven years of estimating experience with independent bid preparation and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of construction estimating experience.

• Ability to prepare comprehensive estimates independently.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specs, trade scopes, and building methods.
• Experience with quantity take-offs, subcontractor pricing and bid leveling.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet submission deadlines.
• Knowledge of NY and NJ construction markets is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Estimation, you will be the main hands-on estimator, taking responsibility for detailed cost estimates, subcontractor pricing and bid preparation. Compensation & Benefits
