You will ensure accuracy, consistency, and competitiveness of estimates while directing workload and staff development. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CM/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years estimating experience, with leadership or mentoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of estimating software and MS Office, reading complex plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating team's day-to-day workload and allocate projects.
• Own go/no-go and bid strategy with BD and executives.
• Review final estimates, bid packages, and proposals for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Establish standardized estimating procedures and QA checkpoints.
• Lead scope review of bid documents to identify risk or missing scope.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier bid solicitation and negotiation.
• Coordinate hand-off meetings between estimating and operations.
• Track win rates and market pricing trends; report to leadership.
• Build relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subs.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop estimating staff.
