Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks an Estimating Manager to lead large EPC estimates from bid package receipt through final review, coordinating a team across multiple pursuits. The role demands strong knowledge of estimating, contract negotiations, and collaboration with project teams on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Drafting & Estimating, or equivalent.
• Seven+ years of construction estimating and/or project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading bids on a regular basis.
• Experience coordinating estimating resources and working within bid schedules.
• Experience supporting contract negotiations and proposal development.
• Experience working with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects from bid package to final review.
• Serve as Lead Estimator on assigned pursuits, defining scope, assumptions, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate Estimator I–III resources to ensure timely, accurate estimate development.
• Ensure compliance with RFPs, internal standards, and review processes.
• Manage resources to ensure on-time, high-quality estimate delivery.
• Present estimates with clear labor, equipment, and material assumptions.
