Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead large EPC estimates and coordinate a multi-level estimating team. This onsite role supports bids across our Fargo-ND and other office locations, aligning with client requirements and internal standards.

Responsibilities include defining scope, managing resources, and mentoring junior staff while collaborating with project management, operations, and executives to deliver high-quality estimate packages.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of construction estimating and/or project management experience.
• Experience leading bids regularly.
• Experience coordinating estimating resources within bid schedules.
• Experience supporting contract negotiations and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects from bid package through final review.
• Serve as Lead Estimator on assigned pursuits, defining scope, assumptions, risks and deliverables.
• Coordinate Estimator I-III resources to ensure timely, accurate estimate development.
• Ensure compliance with RFP requirements, internal standards, and review processes.
• Manage resources to ensure on-time, high-quality estimate delivery.
• Organize and present estimates for transfer to execution teams.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior estimators.
