Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking a Lead Emergency Veterinarian who will own hospital-level clinical excellence and team mentorship. You will champion VEG’s medical processes, develop fellow doctors, and guide teams to deliver rapid, compassionate care consistent with the VEG Way, while fostering growth and lasting impact within the hospital.

You will collaborate with the medical director, oversee schedules, and ensure top-tier patient care, customer satisfaction, and hospital revenue.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree with veterinary license.
• At least 2 years ER experience and critical case management.
• One year leadership experience preferred, but not required.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as hospital needs.

Responsabilités

• Work clinical shifts with responsibilities of emergency doctors at VEG.
• See patients immediately and triage per VEG Spikes.
• Diagnose pets and create diagnostic/therapeutic plans.
• Communicate diagnosis and treatment options with customers.
• Provide appropriate treatments addressing each pet’s condition.
• Create and review medical records for accuracy.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings and mentor colleagues.
