Job summary

Synagro in Richmond, VA is seeking a lead for an operations team responsible for dredging and dewatering equipment. You will oversee daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include leading a team, loading/unloading materials, coordinating travel, and maintaining records. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required; willingness to work varying shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience making minor repairs to operating equipment.
• Experience operating computers and electronic controls.
• Safe driving record: No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor an operations team on assigned projects.
• Serve as brand ambassador in client and public interactions.
• Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks/equipment.
• Comply with DOT, state, local and in-house regulations and procedures.
• Load, unload, and deliver materials to destinations.
• Travel between job sites; overnight travel may be required.
• Perform shop cleanup and equipment/tools setup.
• Maintain operation records and enforce safety procedures.
