Job summary

Synagro in Virginia Beach is seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to support diverse projects across sites, operating a front end loader, belt press, excavator, TerraGator and other listed equipment safely and efficiently.

You will perform daily inspections, routine maintenance, and travel as needed; a minimum of 2 years of field experience is preferred, with a valid driver's license and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with valid driver's license.
• Experience operating heavy/agricultural equipment preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and read instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in a safe manner at all times.
• Travel between job sites; overnight travel may be required.
• Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance.
• Perform shop cleanup, maintenance, and equipment setup.
• Maintain operation records.
