Job summary

State of Alaska is seeking three Equipment Operator, Lead/Journey 3 positions in Bethel on an Alternate Workweek schedule (2 weeks on/2 weeks off). The role covers ARFF, TSA safety checks, snow and ice control, crack sealing, and road/airfield maintenance, requiring a Class A CDL with N-Tanker.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a Class A CDL with N-Tanker endorsement as required by federal regs.
• ARFF training or the ability to obtain it during probation is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain airport and road facilities with ARFF duties and safety inspections.
• Perform snow/ice control, crack sealing, pothole patching, and pavement markings as needed.
• Control wildlife in airfield and assist with equipment operation across sites in Bethel.
