Job summary

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is seeking three Equipment Operator, Lead/Journey 3 roles in Bethel under an Alternate Workweek schedule. Expect 80 hours per week, with 14 days on/14 days off, travel provided to Bethel, and lodging available at reduced rates.

Candidates must hold a Class A CDL with N-Tanker endorsement and exhibit strong accountability, teamwork, and adaptability in a demanding WINTER-ELEVATED environment across multiple airports and rural

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) and TSA safety checks.
• Operate and maintain equipment for the Bethel airport and rural airports.
• Conduct crack sealing, snow/ice control, paving markings, pothole patching, and wildlife control.
