Job summary

MasTec Renewables, part of a large national construction group, is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead and execute large EPC estimates for diverse projects. You will manage a team of estimators, define scope, assess risks, and drive high-quality bid packages from concept to submission.

The role requires seven+ years in estimating or project management, a relevant degree, and strong leadership to coordinate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in engineering, construction management, or estimating.
• Seven+ years of construction estimating and/or project management experience.
• Experience leading bids on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects from bid receipt to final review.
• Serve as Lead Estimator on pursuits, defining scope, assumptions, risks and deliverables.
• Coordinate Estimator I–III resources to ensure timely, accurate estimates.
• Ensure compliance with RFPs, internal standards, and review processes.
• Organize and present estimates so labor, equipment, and material assumptions are clear.
• Participate in bid strategy discussions and turnover meetings.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior estimators.
