Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks an Estimating Manager to lead conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects at multiple US locations. This onsite role directs Estimator I-III efforts and coordinates bid packages to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will mentor junior staff, ensure compliance with client requirements and internal standards, and collaborate with project management, operations, and executives to drive successful bids.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and EPC delivery.
• Ability to independently lead estimates and manage scope, quantities, pricing, and assumptions.
• Experience coordinating estimating resources and leading bids.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects from bid receipt to final review.
• Serve as Lead Estimator on assigned pursuits and define scope, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate Estimator I-III resources to ensure timely, accurate bid development.
• Ensure compliance with RFPs and internal standards; participate in bid reviews.
• Mentor and coach junior staff; support turnover to execution teams.
• Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings as needed.
