Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead and execute large, complex EPC estimates from bid receipt to final review. You will coordinate a team across multiple pursuits, define scope, assess risks, and ensure compliant, high-quality estimate packages for execution.

The role involves onsite collaboration with project teams, bid strategy development, and mentoring junior staff to support advancement within the estimating organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Drafting & Estimating, or equivalent experience
• Seven+ years in construction estimating and/or project management
• Experience leading bids regularly
• Experience coordinating estimating resources within bid schedules
• Experience supporting contract negotiations and proposal development
• Experience working with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects from bid receipt through final review
• Serve as Lead Estimator on assigned pursuits, defining scope, assumptions, risk, and deliverables
• Coordinate Estimator I-III resources to bids to ensure timely, accurate development
• Ensure compliance with RFP requirements, internal standards, and review processes
• Manage resources to ensure on-time, high-quality estimate delivery
• Organize and present estimates so labor/equipment/material assumptions transfer to execution teams
• Participate in bid strategy discussions and turnover meetings
• Provide training and mentoring to Estimator staff
