Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking an Estimating Manager (Wind) to lead large-scale EPC estimates from bid receipt to final review. This role coordinates Estimator I–III, ensures compliance with client requirements and internal standards, and collaborates with PM, operations, and engineering to deliver high-quality estimate packages.

The position requires leadership of bids, risk identification, and mentoring of junior staff, with on-site work at multiple office locations across the US.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of construction estimating and/or project management experience.
• Experience leading bids regularly.
• Experience coordinating estimating resources and bid schedules.
• Experience supporting contract negotiations and proposal development.
• Experience with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects.
• Serve as Lead Estimator on pursuits, defining scope, assumptions, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate Estimator I–III resources to ensure timely, accurate development.
• Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and internal standards.
• Organize estimates so labor, equipment, and material assumptions are clear for execution teams.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in bid reviews and turnover meetings.
