MasTec Renewables seeks an Estimating Manager to lead and execute large, complex EPC estimates on onsite opportunities. You will oversee bid-to-turnover processes, coordinate Estimator I-III, and drive compliant, high‑quality packages for execution teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Drafting & Estimating or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of construction estimating and/or project management experience
• Demonstrated experience leading bids regularly
• Experience coordinating estimating resources and bid schedules
• Experience supporting contract negotiations and proposal development
• Experience working with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects from bid receipt through final review.
• Serve as Lead Estimator on assigned pursuits, defining scope, assumptions, risks and deliverables.
• Coordinate Estimator I-III resources to ensure timely and accurate bid development.
• Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and internal standards.
• Manage resources to ensure on-time, high-quality estimate delivery.
• Present estimates clearly for transfer to execution teams.
• Participate in bid reviews, strategy discussions, and turnover meetings.
• Provide coaching to Estimator I-II staff for advancement.
• May report on junior estimators and support performance feedback.
• Perform site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed.
• Foster collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
