Job summary

EnerSys is seeking an EOL Production Supervisor for the Springfield, MO site on the first shift. You will lead a production team, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality targets are met on a daily basis.

The role requires a combination of leadership, coaching, and strong communication skills, with proficiency in common office software and a focus on PPE compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2-year technical/associates degree or certification and at least 1 year in a lead/supervisory role, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, production management, business management, or engineering with relevant work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and development to the shift/department staff.
• Oversee equipment, systems, resources, and facilities under your control.
• Communicate department targets for production, safety, quality, cost, and operational excellence; coach when needed.
• Establish work schedules and ensure adequate coverage; coordinate with supply and materials.
• Be a liaison to other departments to ensure production status and KPIs are communicated.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and health procedures and PPE requirements.
