Lockheed Martin Missilesand Fire Control in Santa Barbara, CA, seeks an Electro-Optical Engineer to lead EO/IR sensor product development from concept through production. You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and earned‑value and perform EO/IR modeling to validate designs against performance targets.

You will mentor junior engineers, liaise with customers, and prepare design verification reports. A US citizenship and ability to obtain a secret clearance are required for this on‑site role.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, or science field or equivalent experience.
• Completion of successful engineering/science/software projects.
• Excellent presentation and written communications skills.
• Software, data visualization or data analysis skills.
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Mansioni

• Lead technical teams in concept development, detailed design, and production support of IR sensor products.
• Act as technical lead and project liaison, coordinating schedules, budgets, and earned‑value tracking.
• Perform EO/IR modeling and analysis to verify performance requirements.
• Drive development of new IR camera concepts through production.
• Model EO/IR systems, ray‑trace analysis, and performance budgeting.
