Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Test Qualification Lead to plan, execute, and document environmental qualification campaigns, ensuring MIL-STD-810 compliance. You will chair TRRs, coordinate labs and engineering, and act as the technical authority for test methods and readiness.

U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are required. This onsite role involves developing test plans, reviewing requirements, analyzing results, and guiding corrective actions to closure.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIL-STD-810 or equivalent military/industry standards.
• Experience leading environmental qualification tests (vibration, thermal, E3).
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional test teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute environmental qualification tests (vibration, shock, temp, humidity, altitude, E3).
• Develop test plans and reports in line with MIL/industry standards.
• Serve as interface between design teams, labs, and management for qualification tests.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews and ensure configuration control and safety.
• Investigate test anomalies and drive corrective actions.
• Interpret test data and document results for customer delivery.
