Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Round Rock, TX seeks a Senior Test Engineer to lead V&V and Environmental Qualification efforts for sensors and related devices used in nuclear and aerospace environments.

You will design test strategies, execute rigorous environmental stress programs, assess measurement integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust product qualification and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience in environmental/seismic/EMC testing and qualification.
• Deep knowledge of IEEE 323/344, RTCA/DO-160 or MIL-STD-810.
• Proven ability to design and execute test strategies for complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive V&V and EQ test plans for sensors, transducers, and related items.
• Execute environmental stress tests including thermal, radiation, seismic, humidity, and chemical exposure.
• Analyze accuracy, linearity, hysteresis, and response times; perform pre-/in-/post-test checks.
• Lead root-cause investigations, mentor junior engineers, and support continuous improvement.
