Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Lead Enterprise Software Solution Consultant to provide technical sales support for software opportunities. You will lead technical presentations and demos for full software and analytics offerings, reporting to the Regional Manager and working in a remote or hybrid setup from a Rockwell office.

Job Description

As a Lead Enterprise Software Solution Consultant, you will provide technical sales support for software sales opportunities in either the Named or Regional customer segment. You will lead technical presentations and conduct product demonstrations to support field sales activities and address pre-sales technical inquiries across full software and analytics offerings.

You will report to the Regional Manager, Enterprise Software Solution Consultants and work in either a remote environment or a hybrid environment from one of our Rockwell Automation office locations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support our Account Executive Sales team with our growing and highly engaged customer base.
• Provide feedback directly from users into the product organization for enhancements or to improve current workflows
• Identify client needs during discovery and support sessions.
• Give product demonstrations to growing customers.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and other tender documents.
• Work with our internal product team to steer feature and function development.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• The ability to travel 40% of the time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• 8+ years of experience in a pre-sales or customer success capacity, solutions consultant, or related role with a focus on B2B SaaS or enterprise level software solutions.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment or within the maintenance and reliability industry.
• Experience performing product demonstrations and conducting sales calls.
• Experience with enterprise software, SaaS, web, and database technology.
• An understanding of how to quickly develop relationships with customers.
• Previous experience with PLEX software.
