Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Integration Lead Architect to design and govern end-to-end integration architectures across APIs, middleware, data flows and service orchestration. The role leads integration strategy, mentoring teams and coordinating with business and external partners to deliver scalable solutions.

Candidates should have extensive experience with MuleSoft, Kafka, API Gateway, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), plus strong Life Insurance domain exposure. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise integration architecture and leading architecture teams.
• Minimum of 8 years designing REST APIs and event-based integrations across cloud/on‑prem.
• Minimum of 5 years with enterprise integration technologies and platforms such as MuleSoft, Spring Integration, Kafka, API Gateway, messaging platforms, ESB technologies, and cloud‑native services.
• Minimum of 5 years with cloud architecture and integration patterns across AWS or Azure, including containerized and Kubernetes‑based deployments.
• Minimum of 5 years defining API standards, integration governance, security architecture (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT), and scalable integration practices.
• Minimum of 5 years with observability, resiliency, scalability, performance optimization, and operational support for distributed systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of Life Insurance and Annuities domain experience (New Business, Administration, Servicing, Billing & Payments, Claims).
• Minimum of 3 years delivering technology solutions within Life Insurance carrier environments or insurance SaaS platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related field or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end integration architectures, including APIs, middleware, data flows, and service orchestration.
• Develop the integration strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and technology initiatives.
• Lead and mentor integration teams, providing guidance on best practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Act as the primary liaison between business teams, development teams, and external partners.
• Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and aligned with product capabilities.
• Engage with potential clients, understand their integration needs, and propose tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure the integration architecture meets scalability and performance standards.
• Provide development oversight to teams and ensure integration solutions meet client needs and the requirements.
• Proactively identify risks related to integration dependencies and data flow.
• Assist in deployment activities, monitor integration performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in integration technologies and propose enhancements to existing solutions.
• Provide status reports to stakeholders and leadership on integration initiatives.
