Job summary
Accenture is seeking an Integration Lead Architect in California to drive end-to-end integration architectures, APIs, and data flows across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will lead multiple teams, mentor engineers, and align integration efforts with business objectives in life and annuities contexts.
The role requires 10+ years in enterprise integration and strong leadership, with hands-on experience in MuleSoft, REST, and cloud-based patterns.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise integration architecture and leading large teams
- 8+ years designing REST APIs and event-based integrations
- 5+ years with cloud and on-prem integration
- 5+ years with AWS or Azure and containerized deployment
- 5+ years defining API standards, security and governance
- 3+ years Life Insurance and Annuities domain experience
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end integration architectures including APIs, middleware and data flows
- Develop integration strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals
- Lead and mentor integration teams and set best practices
- Act as liaison between business, dev teams and external partners
- Ensure stakeholder expectations and product capabilities alignment
- Engage with clients to assess integration needs and propose solutions
- Collaborate with architects to meet scalability and performance standards
- Provide development oversight and ensure client-driven results
- Identify risks in integration dependencies and data flow
- Assist in deployment and monitor integration performance
- Stay updated on integration trends and propose enhancements
- Provide status reports to stakeholders and leadership
