Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Architect to translate complex business requirements into scalable integration solutions. You will design architectures, guide delivery teams, and establish standards throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring secure, governed, and reusable API ecosystems.

The role requires strong client-facing advisory skills, hands-on MuleSoft expertise, and the ability to lead design reviews and deployments. Travel may be required as part of client engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years translating business requirements into architectures and leading design and code reviews.
• Minimum 7 years of client-facing advisory experience with strong written and verbal communication.
• Minimum of 5 years in integration architecture including connectivity, standards, reusable assets, deployment, and operations.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on MuleSoft experience as developer or architect.
• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 3 years with MuleSoft architecture, solutioning, API/integration design, connectors and build components.
• Minimum 3 years with Anypoint Platform: API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Analytics, Design Center, Exchange.
• Minimum 6 months experience with AI/GenAI tools for productivity and architecture artifacts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (12+ years total)

Responsibilities

• Lead MuleSoft solution design and define integration architectures.
• Translate requirements into designs using API-led connectivity and API/ETL patterns.
• Recommend scalable MuleSoft patterns, assets, and deployment strategies.
• Advise stakeholders and review deliverables across the project lifecycle.
• Guide implementation teams and mentor MuleSoft professionals.
• Support solutioning, scoping, estimates, and environment configuration.
• Use AI/GenAI tools for architecture documentation and prompting with quality checks.
