Job summary

Accenture in Minneapolis invites a seasoned Integration Lead Architect to oversee end-to-end integration strategies across complex enterprise environments in Life and Annuities. You will guide architecture, governance, and delivery teams, aligning integration with business objectives and client needs.

You will mentor teams, drive API standards, ensure scalable, secure solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise integration architecture and leading architecture/engineering teams.
• 8+ years designing REST APIs, asynchronous integrations, ETL pipelines across cloud/on-premise.
• 5+ years with MuleSoft, Spring Integration, Kafka, API Gateway, ESB, and cloud-native services.
• 5+ years with cloud architecture and integration patterns across AWS or Azure, including Kubernetes-based deployments.
• 5+ years defining API standards, integration governance, security frameworks (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT).
• 5+ years with observability, resiliency, scalability, and performance of distributed systems.
• 3+ years Life Insurance and Annuities domain experience (New Business, Admin, Servicing, Claims).
• 3+ years delivering technology in Life Insurance carrier environments or SaaS platforms.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science/IT or equivalent (min 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end integration architectures (APIs, middleware, data flows, orchestration).
• Develop integration strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Lead and mentor integration teams and set best practices.
• Serve as liaison between business, development, and external partners.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and product capabilities.
• Engage with clients to assess integration needs and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure scalable architectures.
• Provide development oversight to ensure client needs are met.
• Identify risks in integration dependencies and data flows.
• Assist in deployments, monitor performance, drive improvements.
• Stay updated on integration tech trends and propose enhancements.
• Provide status reports to leadership on integration initiatives.
