Job summary

Cvent is hiring a Lead Enterprise Services Engineer to steer our Identity & Messaging team and to act as a senior operational deputy across Enterprise Services in the US and India. This role emphasizes identity governance, renewals, audits, and cross-functional partnership.

You’ll own operational cadence, collaborate with security, HR, and business partners, and drive identity initiatives for M&A integration. Hybrid work: 2 days in office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in identity and access management, including hands-on Okta production ownership, with working knowledge of SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
• 2+ years in a people-management or formal team-lead role, including performance management, hiring, and direct feedback.
• Demonstrated ownership of an operational cadence—renewals, audits, or cross-team programs.
• Comfort being the named accountable owner for controls in an audit and able to defend decisions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3–5 identity and messaging engineers across the US and India.
• Represent Enterprise Services in cross-functional forums and make operational decisions with authority.
• Own the renewal, audit, and compliance calendar; run weekly operations reviews.
• Lead identity and access workstreams for acquisitions—Okta migrations and AD integration.
• Manage vendor relationships across enterprise tools, renewals, SOWs, and escalations.
