Job summary

LinkedIn seeks a senior leader to build and guide the Identity Engineering and Enterprise Security team. You will define strategic roadmaps, drive operational excellence, and own high-availability security infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of management or staff-level engineering with management training.
• 7+ years in software development, enterprise security, and identity management.
• Experience defining roadmaps, managing deliverables, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Identity Engineering & Enterprise Security team, setting direction while empowering delivery.
• Operate identity infrastructure with reliability goals, safe rollouts, observability, and on-call discipline.
• Coach and develop security professionals, engineers, and ops with clear priorities and metrics.
• Lead modernization from on-prem Active Directory to Cloud with high resilience.
• Measure success by safer access, stronger governance, and reduced friction for legitimate work.
• Drive proactive security controls across systems, cloud, endpoints, and SaaS.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Engineering, IT, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and business units.
• Establish and report metrics on program health, control effectiveness, availability, and risk reduction.
• Improve tooling and processes to reduce systemic risk and increase efficiency.
