Job summary

Cursor seeks an Enterprise Platform Engineer to design and build the core infrastructure that enables large engineering organizations to manage identities, access, and governance at scale. You’ll own organization management, RBAC, enterprise settings, audits, admin APIs, and compliance features, collaborating with product, security, and infra teams to deliver secure, scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience building multi-tenant IAM systems in production.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and policy evaluation.
• Focus on correctness, security, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the org management system with group, roles, and provisioning via SCIM.
• Implement RBAC with granular permissions across resources.
• Extend enterprise settings, policies, and configuration inheritance across products.
• Improve audit logging with tamper-evident trails for compliance.
• Build admin APIs and tooling for org management and onboarding large accounts.
• Collaborate with product, security, and infra teams to scale platform features.
• Own organization governance, authorization, and compliance features.
