Job summary

enGen seeks a technical and strategic leader to drive the Enterprise Data Protection program across data security, DLP, data classification, and encryption. This role leads a multidisciplinary team to set vision, roadmap, architecture, and execution strategy for enterprise data protection services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Computer Science or related field
• 6 years of relevant experience can substitute for a Bachelor’s degree
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field preferred
• 7–10 years in Information Security/Risk Management or IT
• 1–3 years mentoring in leadership role
• 1–3 years staff management
• Experience with HITRUST CSF or NIST 800-83 preferred
• Experience with SSAE 16 or SOC 2 audits preferred
• Experience developing and executing enterprise data protection strategies and roadmaps

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Enterprise Data Protection program and team
• Provide strategic direction for data security, DLP, data classification, and encryption
• Translate complex technical concepts into business risk and executive decisions
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
• Partner with security, cloud, infrastructure, and legal teams to protect sensitive information
• Oversee project management, budgets, and resource planning
• Drive continuous improvement across the data protection portfolio
