IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Enterprise Architecture to shape and govern IDEXX's technology ecosystem.

You will establish visibility and standards for a future-state architecture across ERP, CRM, LIMS, cloud platforms, and integration layers, coordinating a Center of Excellence of architects and aligning standards with delivery realities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT/software engineering, solutions design, and enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience establishing architecture roadmaps across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• Hands-on experience implementing EA tools (Ardoq/LeanIX/Avolution/Mega).
• Track record of influencing without authority across a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the enterprise architecture inventory in Ardoq, including applications, owners, costs, risks, and lifecycle status.
• Develop business capability maps that connect technology to business value and prioritization.
• Define future-state architecture and the governing principles and standards.
• Embed EA into delivery processes and chair a lightweight Architecture Review Board.
• Collaborate with Center of Excellence to align standards across multiple business units.
• Lead application portfolio rationalization, retire redundancies, and optimize TCOD.
• Mentor architects across the CoE and share best practices.
• Communicate direction and trade-offs to delivery teams and senior leadership.
• Track measurable outcomes: reduced rework, fewer duplicates, faster delivery.
