Job summary

IDEXX is seeking an Associate Director, Enterprise Architecture to shape and govern IDEXX’s technology ecosystem, aligning target-state architecture across ERP, CRM, LIMS, and cloud platforms. You’ll establish visibility, standards, and future-state direction to guide delivery teams with autonomy.

You will lead a Center of Excellence of architects, setting priorities, driving outcomes, and mentoring staff while reporting progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive IT/enterprise architecture experience.
• Proven ability to map roadmaps across multi-cloud environments.
• Hands-on with EA tools and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the enterprise architecture inventory in Ardoq, including owners, costs and lifecycle status.
• Develop business capability maps linking technology to business value.
• Define future-state architecture, standards and governance processes.
• Embed architecture governance within delivery processes and SRF checkpoints.
• Partner with CoE and domain architects to align standards across units.
• Lead portfolio rationalization, retire redundant systems and reduce TCO.
• Mentor architects across the Center of Excellence and report progress to leadership.
