Job summary

IDEXX is seeking an Associate Director of Enterprise Architecture in the US to shape IDEXX’s technology ecosystem and align target-state architecture across ERP, CRM, LIMS, cloud platforms, and integration layers. You will lead an EA CoE, collaborate with senior leadership, and drive measurable outcomes tied to reduced rework and faster delivery.

Responsibilities include building an inventory in Ardoq, developing capability maps, ensuring governance embedded in SRF checkpoints, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in IT/software engineering, solutions design and EA.
• Experience roadmapping across multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of EA frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman or equivalent).
• Hands-on with EA tools (Ardoq/LeanIX/Avolution/Mega).
• Proven ability to influence without authority in a matrix org.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and govern enterprise architecture inventory in Ardoq.
• Develop business capability maps linking tech to value.
• Define future-state architecture and governance standards.
• Embed EA into delivery processes with lightweight governance.
• Partner with EA CoE and multiple domains to align standards.
• Lead portfolio rationalization and retire redundant systems.
