Job summary

Oliver Wyman seeks a Principal Architect to lead the Performance Transformation practice across North America. You will guide design, assessment, and delivery of large‑scale technology solutions, blending strategic leadership with hands‑on architecture for digital transformation and cloud programs.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure architectures, drive governance, and mentor teams while shaping reference architectures and accelerators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• 10–15+ years in architecture or technology leadership roles.
• Proven track record delivering complex enterprise technology solutions.
• Experience leading technology due diligence, architecture assessments, and modernization initiatives.
• Experience designing end‑to‑end architectures spanning apps, data, cloud, security, and operations.
• Experience evaluating enterprise platforms and conducting vendor assessments.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience designing AI, ML, and GenAI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integration architectures, and modern app development.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy and architecture engagements aligned with client transformation goals.
• Conduct technology due diligence, assess platforms, and review architectures and risks.
• Define end‑to‑end solution architectures across apps, data, integrations, and cloud ecosystems.
• Develop target‑state blueprints, roadmaps, and reference architectures for programs.
• Lead platform evaluation, proofs‑of‑concepts, and architecture reviews.
• Design AI and GenAI architectures with governance, security, and MLOps considerations.
• Provide architecture leadership during implementation and governance across engagements.
• Mentor architects, engineers, and consultants while building reusable assets.
