Job summary

Oliver Wyman seeks a Principal Architect to lead design, assessment, and delivery of complex technology solutions for clients. The role blends strategic technology leadership with hands-on architecture, spanning digital transformation, cloud ecosystems, data/AI, and large-scale programs.

You will guide due diligence, target-state architectures, platform selections, and governance throughout the lifecycle, mentoring teams and shaping reusable architectural assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 10–15+ years of experience in solution/enterprise architecture or related technology leadership roles.
• Experience designing and delivering complex enterprise technology solutions across multiple industries and technology domains.
• Strong experience leading technology due diligence, architecture assessments, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Hands-on cloud experience across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience designing AI, ML, and GenAI-enabled solutions within enterprise environments.
• Experience communicating with executive stakeholders to influence strategic technology decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy and architecture engagements aligned with client transformation goals.
• Conduct technology due diligence assessments for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and transformations.
• Define and own end-to-end solution architectures across applications, data, integrations, cloud platforms, and AI solutions.
• Develop target-state architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and transition strategies.
• Lead platform evaluation and vendor assessment processes including proofs-of-concept.
• Lead architecture reviews and workshops with executives, engineers, and vendors.
• Provide architecture leadership during implementation to ensure alignment with requirements and delivery.
