Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead the Data Integrations team in the Office of OneIT (Adm). You will design, implement, and govern enterprise-level system integrations and APIs that connect campus ERP, CRM, and third-party systems.

Lead a team of integration developers, drive API-led connectivity, enforce coding standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into scalable, automated solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced degree preferred; 5+ years of integration architecture/IT leadership.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Ellucian Banner, Salesforce).
• Proficiency in database architecture (Oracle PL/ SQL) and API modeling languages (RAML, OpenAPI, Swagger).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Data Integrations team, overseeing design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level integrations and APIs.
• Lead and mentor a team of integration developers, overseeing professional development, performance, and daily tasks.
• Design, architect, and manage the lifecycle of enterprise-level system integrations and APIs for high performance and security.
• Drive API-led connectivity, code standardization, and robust documentation across the team.
• Partner with campus stakeholders to translate business requirements into automated technical solutions.
• Oversee change management, version control, and automated testing strategies for reliable integration environments.
• Manage the integration landscape across ERPs, CRMs, and document management platforms.
