Job summary

Inspira Financial is seeking a Lead AI Software Engineer to design, build, and operate our enterprise AI platform, including semantic routing and hosting components. You will partner with AI-Ops, security, risk, and data governance to ensure compliant, scalable AI services across business functions.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and scale agentic pipelines from pilot to production while balancing cost, latency, and privacy considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science required.
• 7+ years building and operating production software, including 2+ years delivering production AI/ML systems.
• Experience with AI governance, security, and compliant deployment in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate enterprise AI platform and semantic routing layer.
• Develop secure AI integration patterns for a regulated financial services environment.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical delivery across CoE and partner teams.
• Collaborate with security, risk, compliance, and data governance teams.
