Inspira Financial is seeking an AI Center of Excellence Principal Software Engineer in the Oak Brook area to lead the enterprise AI engineering foundation. You will own architecture, semantic routing, and secure integrations across regulated financial services and health domains.

The role requires mentoring senior engineers, setting standards, and delivering production-grade AI services with strong governance and cost awareness.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science.
• AI Practitioner Certifications are a plus
• 12+ years building and operating production software, including 4+ years delivering production AI/ML systems and 2+ years of LLM or agentic systems in production.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, build, and operate the shared enterprise AI platform.
• Design and maintain intelligent request routing using semantic analysis and deterministic logic.
• Partner with AI-Ops to enable metric-based reporting, quality, performance, and drift monitoring.
• Design and implement secure, compliant AI integration patterns for a regulated environment.
• Build and scale agentic pipelines and multi-agent orchestration across the software development lifecycle.
• Deliver production AI services supporting document intelligence and claims adjudication, conversational and voice self-service, and more.
• Develop reusable reference architectures for engineering teams.
• Evaluate unit economics for AI workloads including costs and latency budgets.
• Identify and prototype AI capabilities with clear recommendations.
• Lead hands-on training sessions with engineering teams.
