The Bureau of Naval Personnel seeks a Supervisory Engineering Technician to lead the Technical Support Department at the Naval Academy. The role directs lab teams, oversees training for Midshipmen, and coordinates engineering technician activities in a lab environment.

Applicants must meet DoD qualification standards with experience in engineering disciplines. Secret clearance is required; the position reports to the Technical Support Department at the Naval Academy.

Formación

• Basic Education Requirement per DoD Qualification Standard for Contracting Positions.
• Experience in a trade or craft may be credited as specialized experience when the work provided intensive knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, methods, and precedents.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the work of laboratories responsible for providing training to all Midshipmen.
• Direct, plan, schedule and coordinate the work of other engineering technicians in a laboratory setting.
