The United States Naval Academy is seeking a Supervisory Engineering Technician for the Technical Support Department. The role involves leading technical activities, coordinating maintenance, testing, and support for engineering systems on site to help ensure operational readiness.

Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level or equivalent, including planning, development, coordination of procurement, testing, installation, operation, maintenance and repair

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the TECHNICAL SUPPORT DEPARTMENT of NAVAL ACADEMY.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1. 1) Planning, developing, and coordinating the methods and procedures for the purchase, verification testing, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment and systems;
2. 2) Working with design, development, construction and testing of advanced engineering devices and equipment;
3. 3) Giving technical guidance to individuals and groups involved in related experimentation, research or development.
