Job summary

DoorDash seeks an Engineering Manager for the People Applications team to lead full-stack engineers across locations in the US and Hungary. You will shape architectural roadmaps, drive AI-enabled product features, and collaborate with product and design to deliver high-impact experiences for employees across brands.

This hybrid role reports to the Senior Manager, Enterprise App Engineering. Expect leadership of a diverse team with focus on performance, reliability, and user-centric solutions,

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years leading full-stack teams of 5+ engineers.
• 7+ years in software development, HR-focused apps ideal.
• Strong experience with Node.js/TypeScript, React, Python.
• Experience with distributed systems and AI integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing full-stack team across multiple locations.
• Define architectural roadmaps and drive technical vision.
• Oversee core People Applications and AI-driven features.
• Collaborate with product, design, and stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Establish development, testing, release, and monitoring best practices.
• Leverage AI to improve velocity and business outcomes.
