Job summary

Scout Motors is seeking a Lead Engineer EE/SW Integration to own vehicle and system-level electrical and software integration strategy, execution, and release readiness across multiple domains. You will ensure hardware/software delivers vehicle-level performance, validate confidence under real-world conditions, and collaborate with MSTs, software and systems engineers, and suppliers.

Based in Novi, Michigan, this role requires 4–5 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 12+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
• Experience with Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory; ALM/PLM tools like Polarion/DOORS Next Gen or Windchill.

Responsibilities

• Own integration of all domain controllers and distributed ECUs into the vehicle E/E architecture.
• Coordinate software integration and validation per vehicle software maturity and release gates.
• Validate system behavior against SRS under nominal and edge conditions; drive cross-domain issues to resolution.
