Job summary
Scout Motors in Novi, Michigan is seeking an experienced powertrain/drive system engineer to shape the future of our all‑electric pickup trucks and rugged SUVs. You will own integration work across powertrain components, collaborate with architects, calibration and testing teams, and push robust software-enabled capabilities.
The role requires a relevant engineering degree and 5+ years in concept or serial development in the automotive sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- 5+ years in concept engineering or serial development in the automotive industry.
- Experience with drive system software integration and product interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Assist in powertrain and drive system integration for all-electric Scout vehicles.
- Review software functions and identify gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate prototype and serial development activities within the REEV feature scope.
- Collaborate with concept architects, calibration and testing teams to resolve issues.
- Hands-on prototyping and building capability from initial operation to software integration.
