Job summary

Scout Motors in Charlotte, NC is seeking an EE/SW Integration engineer to own vehicle-level electrical and software integration, testing, and release readiness across complete vehicle programs.

You will work with software, systems, validation teams and suppliers to ensure robust delivery, with 4–5 days in the office and a base salary range of $110,000–$135,000 annually, plus a performance bonus program. This role offers strong growth in an iconic EV/innovative brand.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU software stacks.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet and UDS diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins and PLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Own vehicle-level electrical and software integration, testing, and release readiness.
• Coordinate integration across Powertrain, Body, ADAS, Infotainment and Central Compute.
• Validate system behavior against SRS under nominal and edge conditions.
• Drive regression test planning and root cause analysis for cross-domain issues.
• Collaborate with software, systems, validation teams and suppliers.
