Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide technical support for Flowline products, including flow iron, valves, swivel joints, manifolds, fittings, and related equipment. The role includes supporting manufacturing and field operations.

You will investigate field failures, perform root cause analysis, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and product management to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5-10 years of engineering experience in pressure pumping or flowline.
• Experience with flowline products and pressure pumping applications.
• Experience with drawings, BOMs, change management, and ECNs.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Flowline products (flow iron, valves, swivel joints, manifolds, fittings).

Requirements

• 5-10 years of engineering experience supporting pressure pumping, flowline, frac equipment, or related oilfield products.
• Strong knowledge of flow iron products and pressure pumping applications.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, field operations, and customer technical support.
• Experience with engineering drawings, BOMs, change management, and product lifecycle support.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hands‑on manufacturing environment and support field activities as needed.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
