Job summary

L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead engineering, maintenance, and facility operations at the luxury hotel in Beverly Hills. You will ensure safe, high-quality performance of all systems and lead the engineering team to deliver efficient operations and guest-focused service.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, hospitality orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years general maintenance experience, hotel/lodging environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical operations and safety.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally 75 pounds.
• EPA 608 Universal Certified, CPO, HVAC certification desirable.
• Available for flexible hours including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and repair of hotel systems.
• Ensure facilities meet safety standards and brand quality.
• Lead maintenance team and mentor staff; report to Director of Engineering.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve maintenance issues quickly.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
