Job summary

The Maybourne Beverly Hills Hotel is seeking an Engineering Operations Manager to oversee the Engineering Department's day-to-day administration, manage capital expenditures, assets, and inventory, and coordinate preventive and emergency maintenance to meet standards within budget.

You will also lead project and construction scheduling, supervise the engineering team, and partner with other departments to support hotel operations and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years supervisory or manager experience in hotel and/or Maintenance/Engineering.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Must have prior experience in Microsoft Office.
• Birchstreet experience is a plus but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Have an understanding of Capital Expenditure request forms and Allocations for various departments.
• Maintain inventory and records for engineering operations and preventive maintenance.
• Process requisition orders and manage paperwork with accounts payable and departments.
• Manage payroll, overtime, and time tracking for the engineering team.
• Solicit pricing from vendors and coordinate purchasing for maintenance projects.
• Coordinate purchasing of materials; maintain expense logs and monthly finance reports.
• Set up purchase orders for service providers and ensure spare parts stock levels.
• Oversee project and construction scheduling and liaise with leadership to track progress.
