Job summary
Voith Group's Hydro division seeks a Sr Engineer in Automation & BOP in York, PA. This senior role leads automation design and reliability for hydroelectric projects, guiding engineering strategy and field execution to deliver reliable, safe, and cost-effective power unit components.
You will mentor junior engineers, drive design reviews and RCA-related improvements, and coordinate with sourcing, manufacturing and site teams to optimize project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise technical product solutions and customer requirements.
- Coordinate an engineering team for design optimizations across electrical and mechanical studies.
- Develop schedules with the master scheduler focusing on critical path and field installation.
- Assess technical risks in design reviews and FMEA processes.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and design guidelines.
- Provide engineering support for sourcing, manufacturing and field operations.
- Collaborate with turbine/generator, field, and commissioning teams.
